Roles and Responsibilities

JD For Job Description - Statutory Profile

  • Periodical review of applicability of various Labor and Employment Laws/rules and assist unit HR to ensure compliance
  • Support Units/Divisions for Registration/ Renewal/ Amendment/ surrender of registration certificates and licences obtained under various labour laws.
  • Ensure timely revision & implementation of minimum wages for regular and outsourced as per the central/state rules.
  • Partner and support Corporate Compliance Head on risk assessment exercises and organizational risk mitigations strategies.
  • Ensure timely remittance of ESI, PF, LWF or any other statutory dues. Partner closely with Consultant and internal & external stakeholders in timely management of these compliances.
  • Support and ensure compliances relating to management of Group Gratuity Trust requirements and National Pension Scheme.
  • Support unit HR for outsourced vendor management & Preparation of MOU as per the prevailing law and set protocols.
  • Prepare and facilitate dos and don'ts of contract labor management and support Units in adopting a right compliance practices and processes, advise them for ensuring total Vendor compliances.
  • Support Unit HR for compliance Audit conducted by Internal & external Auditors and ensure closure of observations.
  • Facilitate Unit HR for providing timely responses, closure of findings in the event of inspections/notices by various Statutory Authorities including Labour, PF, ESI, Gratuity, MWs, Payment of Wages etc.
  • Explore and integrate technology-based compliance system.
  • Preparing executive summary on Statutory Compliance as and when demanded.
