Roles and Responsibilities


Role: Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Designation: Manager

Dept.: IT & Projects

Reporting to: Head IT & Projects

Educational qualifications: MBA

Experience: 8+ years as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Lending Platform

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end ownership of a product lifecycle & roadmap. The analytical mindset that executes informed decisions
  • Work with Business, Finance, Credit & Risk functions to ideate and incorporate developments or improvements that address company objective
  • Build business cases, pitch ideas, and gain buy-in from stakeholders
  • In-depth understanding of Market and carry out analysis for new innovation/services to determine customer needs, industry direction, market positioning, and overall product strategy
  • Evaluate customization and issues; builds recommendations of go or no-go decision. Turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans
  • Help balance near and long-term roadmap by prioritizing with its backlog of issues and bugs

Core and Mandate Deliverable:

  • Translates the user stories into specification; deliver requirements from all stakeholders to IT PM with a detailed FSD
  • Be a connecting dot between IT Project Dpt. and Business functions

Must have:

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Accounting
  • Must have field understanding of BFSI (Micro Finance, BFSI, NBFC)
  • Experience in building/maintaining lending application
  • Knowledge of product development methodologies
  • High attention to detail and visual presentation

UG:

PG:MBA/PGDM in Any Specialization
